I’ve been meaning to watch this video after hearing how yurific the lyrics were and MY MY MY is the video yurific as well! Most of the video reminds me of the Fangtasia in True Blood, -.- It was refreshing to see an outdoor scene with the ladies in cute dresses.
The lyrics (at the end of post) are quite sad. You have one woman begging for her lover to stay with her, telling her over and over again “I love you. I love you”, but the other woman just doesn’t feel the same way. It’s a breakup song which most of you probably won’t even care about because you just want to see the two ladies together. :P
“Ooooh yuri! What?! It’s a breakup song?! But the video is sooooo not a breakup song.”
That’s when you just pleasure your eyes and apply selective hearing. *wink*
What happens in the “Te Amo” is what Beyonce and Shakira’s music video to “Beautiful Liar” should have been like. Best part of that video is when Beyonce and Shakira are air grinding in seductive unison. I think Beyonce messed up her choreography and should have been directly in front of Shakira.
