Today I came across this quote by the Dalai Lama

The more you are motivated by Love, The more Fearless and Free your action will be.

What a powerful statement! Ever loved someone enough where you felt fearless and free? How far will you go to nest into a life with someone for love…to have her by your side, for you both to take care of one another and create a relationship that grows deeper with each day? There are so many obstacles to overcome and maybe even some barriers to put up to protect your relationship from idiotic hateful people.

I experienced that once while in the parking lot of my Uni one day. My first girl friend and I were in the parking lot and she was fooling around I think punching me in my arm or something. We weren’t doing anything sexual to one another but our playfulness may have exhibited a closeness that prompted some guy in his 50s walking across the street to spit out racist and insensitive lesbian comments. Of course we both screamed “F$@K YOU!” and dashed in our car before he had the chance to run across the street. It did make me feel exposed and ashamed.

When people don’t understand a love like that it becomes hurtful. So the barriers go up and you remember how fortunate you are to have love to begin with that runs deeper and stronger than what other people have to say or think. Being motivated by love should be the rock in a relationship to which no storm big or small can ever knock down.

{dream} Oh boy… my cousin’s date has a crush on me

My younger guy cousin just started dated this girl and the rest of my cousins and I finally got to meet her at the carnival. Instead of driving home intoxicated, we decided to book rooms at a nearby hotel. The carnival has this couple compatibility game where you enter your name and it will match you up with someone else in that pool of people.

I go up to my room but there my cousin’s girlfriend is just hanging out. She starts to talk to me. I pretend to be my cousin and write a letter to her starting off with “You are very cute.” She laughs. She is in fact very cute and very enjoyable to talk to. The rest of the conversation is about me saying how wonderful a guy my cousin is and how she is so much better (so far) than the rest of the girls he has dated.

She seems to start getting a little annoyed and then she heads out of the room. I make my way to the carnival and receive my compatibility chart. I begin to freak out because she also put her name in. She knew before I did that we were 99.99% compatible and she was bisexual!!! So she was trying to learn more about me back in the room but all I wanted to talk about was my cousin!

In the dream I saw myself motioning toward her to apologize about it but that part became very vague. What seemed like a few days later, we were at a gym and I began complaining about my lower back. She followed me to one of the back stretchers and sat behind me while I positioned myself. I had the strong feeling she wanted to reach out and start massaging my back. Why else would she sit so close? We didn’t say anything but I can feel the tension between us. It’s the dangerous sort of tension where you know you’re attracted to someone.

That part of the dream ended there….glass thick tension with a very cute girl I am 99.99% compatible with sitting inches behind me at the gym who is just about to start massaging my back BUT she is dating my awesome guy cousin. OTL! I truly hope to NEVER be in that position in real life! However the decision to keep away from that girl because I love and respect my cousin too much is a very easy one to make.

Off tangent: Another part of my dream I saw a couple with a baby in a stroller walking for exercise. I convinced them to get into my car because it was going to rain and I’ll drop them to their car. *pats herself on the back for helping people in her dream*. That is exactly what I would do in real life.

{Spotlight Yuri Manga} (spoilers! w/pics) Kissing Mars – The BEST First Kiss Scene Ever! It’s all about the lips…

Torajiro Kishi is my FAV manga illustrator. Her character illustrations are like a splice between staple Japanese manga illustrations and Marvel. I have a pillow spot for stories and illustrations that look realistic-truer to real life people and events. That said, Torajiro Kishi is excellent with her erotic mangas like Maka Maka because not only do the girls look more realistic, but snippets of her scenes actually do happen in real life.

Here we have in Kissing Mars, two high school girls that happen to become friends after one sees the other kissing the statue of Mars. One girl already has a boyfriend while the other longs to be in a relationship. The cliche ensues as they become closer until Miki goes on her first date and the other girl gets jealous-normal when someone else is in the picture and you end up spending less time with the person you care about.

In the scenes leading up to the kiss, I could feel the nervousness and suspense through the characters. Her depictions of the two voluptuous glistening lips semi-touching one another are perfectly frozen to give the reader that sense of a slow intimate softness that comes with kissing a woman. No Frenching….just a gentle and sweet lip to lip.

This song I find very calming. The lyrics resonate something we all want in a relationship whether it be intimate or friendship. Trust is given until there is reason not to trust anymore. If you want to work it out, trust will have to be earned and maintained like the architecture of fine chocolate otherwise it will just melt away. (btw the rest of the Sara Bareilles Album -Kaleidoscope Heart is lovely. She reminds me of Imogen Heap and Sarah Mclachlan in a couple songs, both artists I also really like. Maybe I’ll post her other songs I enjoy later.)

A few days ago I had a long talk with my ex-girlfriend, whom I shall refer to as DJ, and how she has this massive crush on a colleague of hers, Ozzy. Over the past several months they’ve developed an extremely close affectionate relationship. How close?…well

Incident #1: One day while DJ was in her office, Ozzy walked in, turned off the office lights, yanked DJ by her clothes, and had her sit on the chair where she said, “I just want to lie on you like this.”  DJ was like,”Oh SHIT this is IT! She’s going to kiss me!”

Incident #2: When they hang out at the coffee shop, sometimes Ozzy would put her head on DJ’s lap and lean on her all the time.

Incident #3: Ozzy asked DJ what it’s like to kiss a girl compared to a guy. DJ says it’s fuller, softer, nicer, more sensual, and women like to take their time when they kiss. I told DJ she should have said,”Come here let me kiss you, if you really want to know. Words really can’t explain how amazing it is to kiss another girl.”

DJ treats this woman like a queen; opens the door for her, shouts her meals, and does things she doesn’t normally do, like watch chick flicks. I never really asked DJ what she sees in this girl but she did mention she’s sweet and attractive.  It was 3 am on DJ’s side while we were chatting it up then Ozzy texts her: “I can’t sleep so I’m eating cereal.”

As you can see they are QUITE CLOSE and definitely in some kind of romantic friendship. BUT!!!!

OZZY HAS A BOYFRIEND!!! Ozzy tells her boyfriend that DJ likes girls and that she asked DJ what it’s like to kiss a girl. Now Ozzy’s boyfriend is a little worried because they do spend so much time together.

I told DJ I didn’t like that Ozzy had a boyfriend and why she even crushed on her when she has a boyfriend, but she didn’t know she had a boyfriend at first. DJ says Ozzy only wants to be friends, but DAMN that’s just a lead on with all the things she’s doing to DJ. I told her to move on because I believe that no matter how shitty a relationship is, people shouldn’t cheat just to get out of it. I sure as hell wouldn’t want to be someone’s outlet if they were in a crap relationship and didn’t have the minimal amount of consideration to call it off before being with me.

DJ tried to make the point that Ozzy’s boyfriend was already jealous of her, but I said that at the end of the day, Ozzy is with her boyfriend and not you. Anyone that is in a relationship that leads someone else on is messed up! They think they can have the best of both worlds. Have sex with his/her boyfriend/girlfriend and be all affectionate with us.

I’m glad she’s close to this girl, but I’m not glad that this girl doesn’t want to be with her in that way and has a boyfriend. It’ll be interesting if this is truly just a cat and mouse game between a Psychiatrist and a Psychologist. I hope for good news the next time I talk to her. I mean she lives in L.A.! Finding girls to date should be easy right?!

Ladies, please try to find someone that is NOT in a relationship!! ..unless you like months of drawn out flirting that you could have used to look for someone who was available instead of getting nowhere.
