These are not some of my best works but oh boy was it an extreme thrill to sneak up on that hotel rooftop to take quick shots of the sunset! I was VERY LUCKY! I simply waltzed into the elevator, chose the highest floor, walked over to the Emergency Exit door that had a small rock wedging it open and took pics from the outside stairwell. Then I was like,”Hmmm I wonder if I can walk UP another flight…then another.” I reached the top in 2 flights and snapped away!!! Come to think of it I recently pranced straight into another hotel only authorized personnel could enter. I could be a fab secret agent!

{Photography} Horizon before nightfall

The intent of my hike was to gain photos of a tropical forest but I found this photo to have the most impact on me. The grassy landscape offers vastness within a space diminishing in light. The silhouette of the tree reaches up toward the color-changing sky and the dark gray cloud at the center appears as if it were floating downward about to land softly on the grass spreading itself like a misty blanket.

One can feel the last moments of daylight fleeting…..

The best thing about my class ending close to 6 pm is being able to drive home when the sun is setting. I need to remember to tag my DSLR along next time! This photo I took with my phone once again. Not too bad I must say for the quality of the photo!

Sunsets are not only breathtaking but awfully romantic…. *daydreams*~~~
